One morning as I was driving to work I saw my boss walking and talking to himself.
I slowed down, parked my car on the side of the road and greeted him. He was still in his thoughts but realised I was addressing him. I asked why he was walking and where is his car. He told me he had parked his car and went to a nearby shop to answer the call of nature - but when he came out, his car was missing. I suggested that he head to the nearest Police Station to report his loss. He was reluctant and said his car is an old one and would not appeal to any car thief. Anyway he was confident the car would breakdown on the way and the thief would abandon the car out of frustration.
I gave him a lift to the office and after dropping him off I went to park my car. i was surprised to see my Director’s car parked in its usual spot. After parking my car I reported the good news to my Director. He held up a bunch of keys and reported that he could not start the car the previous evening and had forgotten he had left his car in the parking lot.
He had walked to the Office that morning, but forgotten it - and then thought his car had been stolen by a car thief.
